Blue Moon, Mary Magdalene and the Rise of Venus
Have you been feeling the resplendent energies of this full moon yet? I certainly have. In fact, I’ve been awash with synchronicity and profound insights the past few days. So much so that I’m itching to share them with you all. I have to warn you, we’re about to venture down a rabbit hole. One filled with history, numerology, symbolism, synchronicity, and of course, astrology. I want to preface this by advising you to simply relax, open your heart and feel into the vibration of my words. It doesn’t matter if you fully grasp everything I say on a conscious level. Take what resonates and leave the rest.
I’ll begin by saying that in my hurry to write my last full moon article, I completely forgot to mention that this Pisces full moon is extra special because it is both the second full moon in a single month – also called a Blue Moon – and it also happens to be a supermoon. If you recall, the first full moon of this month in Aquarius was also a supermoon. You can read more about that here.
So right off the bat, we’re dealing with intensified energy. The closer proximity of the Moon to the earth magnifies its effects and having this double dose of culminating energies within the numerology of 8 (August) gives extra potency – the number 8 deals with karma, power, abundance, wealth and cycles of time. After allowing these beautiful waves of synchronicity to bathe me in their wisdom these past couple of days, I’ve come to recognize there’s even more symbolism at play during and after this full moon window.
As mentioned in my first article about this Blue Moon, the asteroid Magdalena (named for Mary Magdalene) plays a key role in these energies, along with Saturn, both of which are conjunct the Moon at the peak of its fullness. All of this takes place in the sign of Pisces, bringing heightened spiritual awareness to the effects. When I speak of spiritual awareness, I’m talking about the highest understanding one could have as an incarnated human.
This is because the highest expression of Pisces involves the dissolution of the ego personality as the individual recognizes their oneness with the Divine and all of creation. It is the energy of the Law of One and the ability to step away from fear and move into faith. Of course, this energy is fractalized, just as the nature of our reality is, so this manifests in multiple layered forms in each individual’s experience, from the most mundane to the most inspired. (An example of the mundane: I came across a vibrant blue yogurt lid during my hike in the middle of the woods yesterday as I was processing all of this information.)
The triple conjunction between the Moon, Mary Magdalena and retrograde Saturn at this time is really having an intense impact on those who are receptive to these energies now. Mary Magdalene is the Divine Feminine counterpart of Christ, one half of the hieros gamos, and she, like Jesus, shared the wisdom teachings of Christ. Some people do not realize that Jesus considered Mary Magdalene his greatest disciple because she was the only one who truly understood and embodied his messages. Information on this can be found in the Gnostic texts of Nag Hammadi.
Much of this information was intentionally omitted from the Christian bible because the texts give a fuller depiction of our ancient history. The former powers-that-be did not want humans to be aware of this information – particularly the stories of the Watchers from the Book of Enoch and the teachings of the Divine Feminine. Focusing on the latter (although the former is a very interesting study in itself), those who took control of humanity many thousands of years ago intentionally suppressed the role and teachings of feminine consciousness. This is for three main reasons: 1) They were patriarchal – actually, vehemently misogynistic, 2) They wanted to distort our true history to leave humans confused, and therefore, disempowered, and 3) They wanted to prevent humans from stepping into their true power via the uniting of the hieros gamos, masculine and feminine.
Thus, they destroyed any evidence of the feminine Wisdom Teachings, eradicated those who carried this wisdom, and intentionally subjugated the feminine as a means of undermining any trace of this knowledge that may arise. They also intentionally distorted the Sacred Masculine teachings in order to create violence, chaos and greater confusion among the human population – all so they could better control us. Thus, the wisdom of Mary Magdalene and the Goddess traditions seemed to be lost forever. Except that it wasn’t.
These teachings were buried deep within the DNA and continued on by those who carried this lineage in their bloodline. The feminine wisdom only needed to be reactivated, and thus was born the Order of the Blue Rose – the Mary Magdalene mystery school. This order is said to have been prevalent during the period of Lemuria and its stewards originated from Venus. It was through this order that initiates received the Christed wisdom teachings of Mary Magdalene in order to continue this knowledge so that future generations of humans would have the ability to awaken and unite the hieros gamos, reactivate the DNA and ultimately lead to ascension.
The Order of the Blue Rose ties into the legends of King Arthur and Avalon as well. The mystical realm of Avalon was said to be the home of a sacred sect of magical priestesses, similar to Merlin. The legend of Arthur finding Excalibur is a symbol for reclaiming the Sacred Masculine, while the Holy Grail is a symbol for the bloodline of Mary Magdalene/the Divine Feminine. The Holy Grail is lost or missing in the legends due to the intentional destruction and banishment of these teachings by the negative elite. The legends of the Knights of the Round Table seeking the Grail and the Grail Kings as protectors of it are symbols for the unification of the masculine and feminine. The legends say that the Holy Grail offers healing powers, eternal youth and infinite abundance, all things associated with activating the kundalini and dormant DNA. So we see through the legends that the Sacred Masculine and Divine Feminine need each other. They are not meant to be separated and one is not superior to the other as the elite controllers would have us believe – divide and conquer.
Let’s get back to the astrology though. Asteroid Magdalena seemed to become especially active around the time of Magdalene Feast day and the opening of the Lion’s Gate portal. If you recall, as I wrote about in my Lion’s Gate article, this year’s Lion’s Gate carried a special theme of shadow work and balancing karma. As we look at the alignments to this Blue Moon, we see that Mary Magdalena and retrograde Saturn are conjunct with the full moon. Saturn is the lord of karma (and time) and with it being retrograde, there is emphasis placed on internal processing of this karma. As well, full moons are times of culmination and release, so it seems there is a kind of crescendo of these themes at this time.
I, personally, believe this full moon is a prelude to the rising of Venus. As many know, Venus has been retrograde since July 23rd. This is just one retrograde cycle within a larger cycle, though. Venus has an 8-year cycle in her movement around the earth. If you trace this movement, if forms a geometric pattern known as the Rose of Venus or the Pentagram of Venus because it forms five looping petals. Each 18-month cycle of Venus (her time between retrogrades) forms a single petal of this rose, thus there are a total of five retrograde cycles within this larger rose cycle.
Within each retrograde cycle, there is a literal and symbolic process that Venus undergoes. First and foremost, it is said that when Venus turns retrograde, it symbolizes her death or descent into the underworld (which is literally represented by her “star” in the night sky being visible at night). Through this underworld descent, she is said to undergo an initiation process, which is to say, she faces her shadow self. Since Venus rules relationships, the focus then turns inward and she examines her relationship with herself. This is where the Venus Rose cycle begins:
1) While Venus is retrograde, she aligns with the Sun – symbolizing the start of her rebirth, the spark of illumination that forms as a result of the work she’s done through her initiation process and self-examination.
2) Venus turns direct – she is able to take the lessons of her underworld initiation and merge them with her outer experience – the relationship with herself then becomes reflected through her relationship with others. Before she turns direct, physical Venus is now visible in the early morning sky, thus making her the “morning star Venus” and reborn.
3) Venus, while direct, aligns again with the Sun – Venus is in the height of her power now as she shines her light of love on the outer world, also symbolizing the completion of her cycle.
4) Venus turns retrograde once again – this begins the next phase of a new petal on her rose, physical Venus in the sky becomes an evening star once again. (I recommend checking out Forever Conscious’ article on this topic here.)
Each of these Venus retrogrades is a “mini cycle” within the larger scope of her rose geometry. After five of these cycles, Venus completes the 8-year rose pattern. It should come as no surprise that Venus started a new 8-year cycle in 2020 (her previous cycle having begun in 2012). We can see these themes of growth, love, relationship and initiation reflected in our own ascension cycle. It should also be noted that Venus is the lower octave of Neptune, both planets relating to themes of love, and Neptune entered its home sign of Pisces back in 2012 as well.
Thus, now, in 2023, we have completed the third petal of Venus’ journey. This number is highly significant, and you’ll soon see why. (Numerology plays a great role in the energies we are experiencing now.) How does this Venus cycle relate to the current Blue Moon and the energies of Mary Magdalene and Saturn we’ve been discussing? First of all, as previously mentioned, it is said that the founders of Mary Magdalene’s Order of the Blue Rose originated from Venus. Also, as mentioned, those who wished to join this order and learn the Divine Feminine wisdom teachings, had to undergo an initiation process.
This initiation was known as passing through the “7 Mystical Gates,” which I believe, is a metaphor for the activation of the 7 chakras. However, there’s even more profound symbolism tied into the 7 Mystical Gates. For example, the Tree of Life is a blueprint which represents our reality structure – it is holographic, symbolizing both the micro and macrocosm, from the structure of our universe to the coordinates of our individual matrix. The tree that is shown through mainstream Kabbalah is actually a representation of the inorganic inverted matrix system that has been artificially overlaid on the organic template (the false screen reality). This diagram displays 10 spheres (or nodes/stargates), which is another way the negative elites have attempted to deceive us by withholding truth, thus disempowering us from activating the full tree. How can you activate something if you don’t know it exists?
The organic Tree of Life contains 12 spheres/nodes/stargates. If, in one representation, each sphere symbolizes a dimension of reality, then we, being in the 3rd dimension, would need to pass through another 7 spheres in order to break past the 10th dimensional “block” that the inorganic structure has overlaid. Thus, passing through the 7 Mystical Gates, could symbolize the activation of these different stargates in order to help us move beyond the limited, artificial template that has been falsely presented to us. I digress, though.
In any case, the number 7 is important as far as Mary Magdalene and the Order of the Blue Rose go, and often this initiation process is symbolized by the triple 777. Also bear in mind that 7 is the number of research, analysis and deep investigation leading to spiritual awareness. It also symbolizes the union of mind and intuition, which could be read as the union of opposites, left and right, masculine and feminine – hieros gamos.
As I said before, I believe this Blue Moon is a prelude to Venus being rebirthed as the morning star and the end of her retrograde cycle. We have, thus, just begun her third spiral in the greater Rose cycle. Why is the number 3 important? Not only is it associated with creation, abundance and communication – and communication is symbolized by the color blue – but it is the number of the Ascended Masters, particularly 333. This number is also tied to Mary Magdalene, as one of the Ascended Masters. As well, she is symbolized by the Divine Feminine number 13. (M is the 13th letter of the alphabet. Also consider the Venus Rose cycle → 5 cycles + 8 years = 13.) The number 333 also reduces to 9, the number of service-to-humanity, wholeness and completion. (Each Venus retrograde cycle is 18 months → 1 + 8 = 9.) So we can clearly see the numerological correlations between Mary Magdalene and Venus, which both symbolize the Divine Feminine.
The Moon is also feminine and in astrology, she represents the unconscious feminine. The Moon is also directly tied to the past, whether that’s childhood or past lives, thus she symbolizes our inherited, unconscious needs, urges, desires and reactionary behavior – all accumulated through… drumroll… karma. Recall that Saturn, the third leg of this triple conjunction, is the Lord of Karma. He is also, again, the Lord of Time (Cronos in Greek mythology), so we find repeating cycles of time which loop our karmic experiences and keep us locked into them until we are able to cultivate the discipline (Saturn) to close these loops and leave them in the past.
It seems that at the time of this full Blue Moon, we are receiving a final initiation prior to the rebirth of Venus. This is the culmination of a process that started back at the opening of the Lion’s Gate (and even farther back when looking at the larger cycles). This is a time when we are shedding what is unnecessarily holding us back and coming into the full realization/recognition of our karmic past and ancestral lineage as we receive wisdom through these Divine Feminine downloads. I also believe that much of this wisdom will integrate into our awareness around the time that Venus turns direct, because the next day, Jupiter will turn retrograde (Jupiter = wisdom).
Going back to the numerology, I want to point out that the full moon occurs at 7 degrees of Pisces. It is conjunct with Mary Magdalena at 4 degrees (13 = 1 + 3 = 4) of Pisces and Saturn at 3 degrees of Pisces (4 + 3 = 7). Lastly, we are in a 7 universal year (2023 → 2 + 0 + 2 + 3 = 7). When you put all of these pieces together, you get 777, the marker of Venus’ underworld cycle and the Order of the Blue Rose’s 7 Mystical Gates initiation process. Lastly, 777 reduces to 3 (7 + 7 + 7 = 21 → 2 + 1 = 3). Okay, one more, if you want to really split hairs: the full moon is at 7 degrees 24 seconds → 2 + 4 = 6 → 6 + 7 = 13. Seriously, I’m done now. Okay, I know this was very dense with all of the numerology and background history. It’s not important to grasp every single nuance of this event. You don’t need to know all the numerology, symbolism, history and astrology. I’m sharing all these details with you because I’ve been having these downloads for the past couple of days and it’s like the synchronicity is moving over me in waves of fractals. Let’s gather all these pieces and focus on the important takeaways.
This full, super Blue Moon marks a culminating moment for us. It is distinctly feminine in nature and carries the energy of initiation, awakening and intuitive reception. We are witnessing, perhaps on a more conscious level than usual, the rebirth of the Divine Feminine. This comes at a pivotal moment for us as we watch on the world’s stage the ever-more-desperate attempts by the dark elite to maintain control over our reality. They do not have it anymore, but they do not accept this. What we are witnessing is simply a false matrix overlay that plays out alongside our own individual timeline (which we choose how to create). One of the advantages to suppressing the feminine energies is people find it more difficult to listen to their intuition. As well, it is more difficult to manifest because both the feminine and masculine are needed to create in physical reality. First our creations are inspired in the realms of hyperspace via imagination, then they take form in physical reality through a combination of heart energy (love, bliss, joy, i.e. feminine energy) and action/intention toward manifestation (masculine energy). We must also move into a state of being (zero point) and open reception/flow (feminine).
Though these energies have been suppressed and deliberately withheld from our awareness for a long time, they are returning to us now. Both the Divine Feminine and Sacred Masculine are balancing and integrating so we can become powerful co-creators alongside Source once again. This Blue Moon and the rising of Venus (Venus = attraction = manifestation) offer us powerful assistance in clearing our karma and claiming our sovereignty as spiritual beings so we can continue to manifest our most ideal reality on this 3D/4D plane. The full moon energy is still very active now and Venus moves direct on September 4th (9 + 4 = 13) at 12 degrees, 12 seconds (33). This is our period of initiation into the next stage of our ascension journey. Upgrades are available, the feminine energies are flowing in beautiful holographic fractals, ready to be received by those with open hearts and eyes to see. I hope you find this time incredibly magical, activating and empowering. Don’t be surprised if the color blue pops up in your awareness as synchronicity as well as the numbers I have been discussing. Allow yourself to receive the Blue Rose and it will blossom in your heart with overflowing magical energy.
